Location of Festival
The movies will be shown at the Roxie, is in the Mission neighborhood in 16th Street between Valencia and Guerrero. This is fairly close to downtown, or to the Castro, a bit further from Tenderloin or Polk Street neighborhoods, but not too far. This year I am referring guests to the Monarch Hotel because it's the least expensive, and well located. It's in the Polk Street neighborhood, lots of clubs and food, a 5-10 minute bus ride from our office, and another 5 mnutes to the Roxie. The SW Fest office is at 11th and Harrison, and we will have many events here, not too far from the Mission, in the Soma district.

Arrival at San Francisco Airport
Bart takes you into San Francisco.
There are door to door van services for approximately $18. Some major hotels have pick-up services.

Arrival at Oakland Airport
There is a shuttle to Bart which takes you into San Francisco. There are door to door van services for around $25.00
